Her Side
Erica's Story
People often ask where our story began, and every time I think about it, I can’t help but smile. It all started in church. Serving in God’s house had always been a joy to me. Welcoming people wasn’t just something I did; it reflected the love I had received from Christ. So, when I got introduced to my love by a friend, I greeted him with a warm smile. To me, it was a simple act of kindness. I had no idea that God was using that very moment to introduce me to the man who would one day become my husband.
If someone had told me then that this stranger would one day become my best friend, my greatest supporter, and the love of my life, I probably would have laughed. But God already knew.
As time went on, we began talking more. What started as friendly conversations gradually became moments I looked forward to. I discovered a man who loved God, valued people, and carried himself with humility and sincerity. Friendship came naturally, and somewhere along the way, my heart quietly began to realize that this friendship was becoming something much more beautiful.
His Side
Fosu's Story
There are moments in life that seem ordinary until you look back and realize they have changed everything. Walking into church that day felt like any other day. I wasn't expecting anything unusual. Then I was welcomed by a young woman whose smile immediately made me feel at home. I knew from the first handshake that Erica was the woman God had prepared for me because I saw myself in her. It wasn’t just a smile; it was genuine, kind, and warm.
I left that day remembering more than the sermon. I remembered the person whose kindness had made such a lasting impression on me. Without knowing it, Erica had already become part of a story God was writing for both of us.
The more I got to know Erica, the more I admired her. Her kindness wasn’t reserved for one day or one person; it was simply who she was. She had a heart that served, encouraged, and loved others without expecting anything in return. I realized that I wasn’t just looking at someone I admired. I was looking at the woman I wanted to spend my life with.
